Meet Brian from PerlerTricks, he is our featured maker for November 2022!

Brian of PerlerTricks is an artist and educator living in the Greater Cincinnati area. Combining his love for fine art and pop culture, PerlerTricks creates elaborate, detailed, handmade costumes of his favorite characters from comics, video games, and movies. Having taught high school art for the past 20 years, Brian strives to inspire a creative spirit in all of his students.

1. What it is you create/craft:

I create elaborate, detailed, handmade costumes.

2. What is your favorite Surebonder product:

I love Surebonder's Cosplay hot glue sticks and glue guns.

3. What craft have you always wanted to try:

I have always wanted to try molding and casting my own prosthetic makeup appliances.

4. What inspires you:

I am inspired by my children and students and their ability to focus on the fun in the everyday.
