Meet Blanca from BGC Endless Creations she is our featured maker for February 2021!

My name is Blanca Contreras and I am from Skokie, Illinois. I started crafting back in 2018 after my 3rd son was born. I bought a used Cricut Explore Air on Facebook Marketplace and never looked back, everyday I fell more in love with the world of crafting. I bought my first Surebonder® glue gun at Hobby Lobby and loved it. I now have three because why NOT! I make lots and lots of paper flowers on a daily basis for my shadow boxes and an awesome glue gun is a must. Fast forward to now Year 2020 a different and challenging year, my small business is thriving and I am beyond thankful.

1. In one sentence describe what it is you create/craft:

I create a little bit of everything, in the past few months I have really fallen in love with paper flower shadow boxes. I make them for Godparent proposals, Memorials, and Home Decor.

2. What is your favorite Surebonder product:

My favorite Surebonder product without question is the 5 foot glue stick it is amazing. I can do 3/4 shadow boxes without having to refill.

3. What craft have you always wanted to try:

A craft I have always wanted to try is embroidery. It is so soothing to see all those needles creating a beautiful design.

4. What inspires you:

I was not crafty growing up but I always loved makeup and fashion. A different type of art. I really get inspired by my customers who choose my small business for their special order and the "I love it, it is more beautiful than I had pictured". That keeps me going in itself.
