Now it's time for a little Q&A, let's go!

1. How long have you been creating and how did you get started?
I have been creating all my life, but have been creating professionally for almost 6 years. Several years ago, my dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness and, while I clung to the Lord spiritually, I found myself needing an outlet to express my emotions. I began to flip furniture for a profit, which led to starting my YouTube channel, which then led me to the world of professional crafting.  In addition to being a full-time crafter, I am also a wife, mom, crafter and sister in Christ. I’m passionate about creating and inspiring others to do the same, all while having fun and saving money.

2. What is/are your favorite Surebonder product(s):
Ooohh! I absolutely love the Cordless/Corded Full Size Glue Gun. It's so easy to work with and the flexibility is priceless. I have been using it for a long time. If you look at my glue gun, you'll know. Also, the new Full Size Detail Tip Glue Gun is my second favorite, the detail tip is perfect for detail work or smaller projects.

3. What inspires you to create?  What do you love most and what is the hardest part about the creative process?:

Inspiring others is what inspires me! I love knowing that fellow crafters all over the world are inspired by my creations to either recreate them or create their own masterpieces. Whether it is someone new to crafting wanting to learn and grow, a seasoned crafter who wants to be inspired, or a former crafter who maybe is no longer able to physically craft, but loves being part of a crafting community. I love being able to share and connect with every single one of them.

4. Who’s another maker you admire and what do you love about their work?:
I'm inspired by so many creators that it's hard to pick just one. I have had the pleasure of knowing so many creators who love what they do, work hard everyday and never give up! I love our crafting community! I'm Not only inspired by their creations, but by their dedication to their craft and hard work.

5. How do you manage and overcome creative burnout?:
Creative burnout can easily come when you are creating as a profession. However, I've learned a few things over the years that have helped me overcome it. 1. Learning to rely on the Lord and His Word. Without daily dependence on Him, we could experience not only creative burnout, but in other areas of our lives as well. 2. Having a healthy work/home balance is extremely important. Knowing when to work and when to stop working is the key. Crafting is a hobby I love having, but when it became a career, I had to learn to know when to stop working and focus on being a wife, mom, daughter, etc. 3. Learning to have fun and to not take life so seriously. We need to enjoy every season of our personal and professional lives. Look at the beauty in everything.

6. Have you experienced a fail? How did you work through it and what did you learn?:
Occasionally failing in some areas of life is part of it all. You either fail backwards or fail forward. It used to bother me so much when something didn't turn out the way I thought it should, but I've learned to embrace the failures, learn from them and move on. Some are harder than others, but in the end we get through it and learn valuable lessons along the way.

7. What advice would you give to someone who wants to get started?:
Do it! Give yourself grace to make mistakes. It's the journey, experiences and memories that matter. Remember to have fun and not sweat the little things!

8. What’s next for you? (a new project? a new technique? a new venture?):
I have recently launched a second crafting YouTube channel called Let's Craft. It's geared toward parents, grandparents, aunts, teachers, or anyone with kids wanting crafting inspiration to make with them. I am also working on a project that I have been so excited about. It will take a bit longer than expected to launch, but Lord willing I'll be able to share some time in the near future!
