I have a nearly obsessive love of all needle crafts. I taught myself to sew, knit, crochet and embroider from a very young age. I am the original developer and designer of this recycled wool and zipper craft. I’ve been doing this work for close to fifteen years. I tend to concentrate on brooch making although I will make pin cushions every now and then.
In one sentence describe...
1. What it is you create/craft:
I create brass zipper and recycled wool accessories.
2. What is your favorite Surebonder product:
The Black Fabric Hot Glue was a game changer! Honestly a dream to work with, it has the perfect tackiness and hold. It’s an absolute must for my work. It also allows me to finish the back of my work with amazing precision.
3. What craft have you always wanted to try:
Weaving and spinning wool!
4. What inspires you:
I find endless inspiration in nature, I tend to use a lot of birds, woolly flowers and leaves in my work. I also love dramatic modern art as a source of inspiration.
