Meet Star from Moms Crafting Adventures she is our featured maker for July 2020!

Hello my name is Star and I love to constantly challenge myself to go outside my comfort zone.

1. In one sentence describe what it is you create/craft:

I’m an eclectic crafter, I started with making jewelry for my oldest 18 years ago but am now willing to try any craft style that inspires me, this includes making flowers and shadow boxes that can be used for decor, or hair clips for my daughter, anything that allows me to be creative is amazing.

2. What is your favorite Surebonder product:

My DT-3100F dual temp glue gun with the detail tip. This glue gun is amazing, you always know you are going to get the amount of glue needed for your project, but without the drips or glue strands. It makes doing detail work easy, and mess free. Being an eclectic crafter I have used it to create small 3D flowers, large petals on big flowers and even detailed items such as rhinestones.

3. What craft have you always wanted to try:

I have always wanted to try to make wooden roses. This is a project that would require skills a little out of my knowledge base, but I love a challenge. I love that they can vary in color and appearance, because as the maker you can choose the colors and are only limited by your imagination.

4. What inspires you:

I am inspired by my family and my constant desire to challenge myself to go outside my comfort zone. I never thought I would venture into other crafts outside of scrap booking, but after seeing all the possibilities that exist for a crafting individual I cannot see stopping at just one crafting style.
