Meet Jenna

This month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Jenna from Jenna Davis Creative as our Maker of the Month for September 2026!

Jenna has been creating for as long as she can remember, but her wedding six years ago took her love of making to a whole new level. After designing and creating every last detail of her big day, she discovered just how much joy there is in bringing the ideas in her head to life.

Today, that creative spirit carries into everyday projects for her home and family, with a focus on making things uniquely her own. Join us in celebrating Jenna as she embraces the freedom of creativity, one idea and one project at a time.

We've asked Jenna to share her story and some insights she's gained along her crafting journey. Let's get into it!

1. How long have you been creating and how did you get started?

Hi, I'm Jenna, and I've been creating for as long as I can remember. My wedding 6 years ago really catapulted my love of making to a new level, where I had my hand in the creation of every last detail. Now that translates into everyday makes for my home and family.

For Jenna, creativity is about having the freedom to bring the vision in her head to life.

3. What inspires you to create? What do you love most and what is the hardest part about the creative process?:

I love the freedom that creativity gives me to make exactly the vision in my head.

4. Who’s another maker you admire and what do you love about their work?:

I love Hot Pink Pineapples on Instagram. I've followed her creative journey for over 10 years and love how she elevates her home and style on a budget.

5. How do you manage and overcome creative burnout?:

It can be extremely difficult to overcome creative burnout. I try to take breaks and pace myself, as hard as that can be!

6. Have you experienced a fail? How did you work through it and what did you learn?:

Absolutely! Many of the ideas in my head don't come to fruition, either as a result of time, energy or they're just not physically possible. I try to step back and realize there will always be another project and to give myself grace.

7. What advice would you give to someone who wants to get started?:

Keep at it! Projects are made to look easy on social media, but often times they take hours, days or months to complete. Don't give up if you don't get it at first you don't succeed!

8. What’s next for you? (a new project? a new technique? a new venture?):

I'm focusing on re-starting my craft club. A meet up of friends new and old who create together. It's brought me so much joy and I can't wait to get back in the swing of things.
